Here again, the difficulty will be in planning, integrating and mapping out the best and most economic route to take for the maximum convenience of all concerned taking into consideration the different shops in different localities required to be visited by the different individuals making the trip.

As another option in saving fuel, switch off the engine when not moving and even when you are picking up someone and waiting for him to come out of his house to go somewhere together. The same applies if you halt the vehicle in front of a pastry shop while your wife runs inside to buy some pastries.  You may also try this strategy if you know that you’ll have to wait long for the traffic lights to change for you to proceed.
